“Negima” Full-Length Anime Feature – Confirmed for 2011

According to the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine, a full-length anime feature of the Negima series has been confirmed for 2011. 「Negima Saga Final」 are the words displayed in the scan below. Whether or not this will be used as the title for the upcoming project is unknown at this time.

Creator Akamatsu Ken had previously stated that the final chapter of the OVA series would be released as a theatrical film if sales prove to be successful. On August 11th, Akamatsu wrote on his blog that the project was now underway since pre-orders for the new 「Mahou Sensei Negima! Mouhitotsu no Sekai」 OVA were satisfying enough.
