  1. Translations of Chibi Chiemi’s two tweets on the subject found at http://precure.livejournal.com/1603672.html?thread=28093016#t28093016

The Ojamajos are now in high school! Kodansha is releasing the light
novel Ojamajo Doremi 16 in December! I’ve already gotten a chance to
read it! When I first started reading it felt like I was back in
Doremi’s world. It was awesome being able to meet the Ojamajos again!

Today? Yesterday’s “Ojamajo Doremi 16” release received a great
response. I wonder if Toei’s big-wigs have noticed it yet? A lot of
people are looking forward to this~!

  2. Really, really interesting. I loved this anime back when it was aired in Spain.

Now, the Precure franchise appeared after the end of the Doremi franchise (well, with Ashita no Nadja in the middle). Will the restart of the Doremi franchise mean the end of the Precure franchise?

  3. The new Ojamajo at first glance sounds like it’s aimed at an older target demographic (being the same people who originally watched the first 4 seasons, who are now 10 years older).  Hopefully that means it’ll air in a separate time slot and not interfere with Precure.

  4. I pretty much squealed like a little kid when I saw this. I really hope that someone translates the light novel for us.

And I REALLY REALLY hope that an anime comes out for us next year! <3

  5. Nope, that’s not from Doremi 16, that’s from episode 1 of Doremi Naisho (OVAs).  The girls used magic to become teenagers in order to invade the boy’s bicycling trip without them knowing it was them. (It was just for that episode).
